With more friends bringing their pups into the city, I’m sharing my top 19 dog-friendly restaurants. These spots, scattered across neighborhoods, offer delicious fare for both humans and hounds and embody Brooklyn’s inclusive spirit. Consider this your guide to the charm behind unassuming facades โ€“ Brooklyn’s best-kept secrets await.

19. Westlight – 111 N 12th St, Williamsburg

Westlight is a 22nd-floor rooftop bar from Chef Andrew Carmelliniโ€™s NoHo Hospitality Group featuring sweeping views of New York City from atop The William Vale in Williamsburg.

It has a 360 view with so many incredible photo spots. It offers the most stunning views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines, especially if you are on the side facing the river you can have excellent photos and a perfect view. It has a clean and spacious rooftop and offers a variety of cocktails and drinks at a reasonable price.

You can make a reservation to dine or you can go up to the Turf Club where there is open seating and one main bar to grab drinks. There is also a lot of standing room, so you can bring a big group and still won’t feel cramped.

The wait to get to the top was only about 10 minutes, but I suggest you come on a weeknight or early on a weekend so you don’t get stuck in any long lines.

I recommend dishes like Duck Carnitas Tacos, Crispy Herb Fries, French Fries, and Tempura Bass Buns. Sometimes service is extremely slow.

The patio and indoor areas are open to dogs, making it an ideal location for a night out with your furry friend. The menu features a variety of upscale bar bites and craft cocktails. Dogs are welcome in both the patio and indoor areas, with water bowls provided.
